This video is my very first Motion Graphic.

 

I created this Motion Graphic for my freelance company. I wanted to create a Motion Graphic that showcases what I am capable of and why I call myself a Designerd.

 

Being a nerd about something means having passion for something. Some have such a passion for comic books, chess, computers, games or even design. In my motion graphic I show examples of other (percieved) 'nerdy' things like comic books or chess, to give an understanding of my passion for Design.

 

By doing this I wanted to get rid of the negative association that the word 'nerd' currently has and turn it into something positive. It is just a step further than being a little geeky.

 

After explaining why the name is Designerd and what a nerd actually is I tell my audience why design is my passion and what I do with this passion for potential clients.
